Here you will find links to all the information, forms, documents, and resources you need relating to the Housing Credit Program, including the Qualified Allocation Plan and Affordable Housing Funding Application. Applicants should review all program information and applications for a thorough understanding of Ohio's program before applying for housing credits.

2011 Tax Credit Program

The first draft of the 2011 Qualified Allocation Plan is now available for review and public comment. The comment period will end on March 14, 2010. Written responses can either be emailed to AKrauer@ohiohome.org or mailed to the address below:

2010 Qualified Allocation Plan

The Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) provides information on the 2010 Housing Credit Program including minimum development requirements, competitive criteria, and underwriting criteria. Data tables are also included with the QAP to provide applicants with the necessary localized data regarding such information as median family income, qualified census tracts, and rent limits by county.

2010 Affordable Housing Funding Application and Forms

All applicants must use the 2010 Affordable Housing Funding Application (AHFA). The application can also be used to apply for Housing Credit Gap Financing (HCGF), the Housing Development Loan Program, Multifamily Bond Program, and Neighborhood Stabilization Program.

In addition to the AHFA, applicants will need to complete a variety of other certifications, studies, and forms to verify eligibility for housing credits. All applicable forms are available for download here.

Preferred Market Study Providers

OHFA is seeking experienced professionals to conduct third-party market study reports for housing funding applications. Below you can download the current Preferred Marked Study Provider List, which OHFA updates as we receive applications during the year. You can also download an application packet for becoming a preferred provider. All applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to OHFA’s funding deadline.
